According to Mundo Deportivo , unless Vinicius Junior leaves or wants to change his shirt number, Mbappe will be given the iconic number 7 shirt at the Bernabeu. Instead, Real chose the number 10 shirt for the French player.

Luka Modric’s contract is about to end, so the number 10 shirt will be available for Mbappe in the summer of 2024. In fact, the striker born in 1998 is not too unfamiliar with this shirt number.
