The Brazilian representative has just made the latest move to ask Manchester United midfielder Antony to loan him this summer. 
In January, there was information that Antony could leave MU on loan, but in the end he remained at Old Trafford. It can be said that this is one of the worst contracts of the ‘Red Devils’ post-Sir Alex Ferguson.
The Manchester team spent 100 million euros to sign Antony from Ajax, but the Brazilian player caused huge disappointment at Old Trafford. At the present time, players born in 2000 cannot compete for a starting position under coach Erik ten Hag.
Most recently, according to the Brazilian press, Flamengo Club has just had the first contact with MU to ask to borrow Antony in the upcoming summer transfer period. Flamengo is currently led by Tite, former head coach of the Brazilian team. The red and black team has the ambition to conquer both the national championship and the Copa Libertadores.
“There have been further reports about Antony’s situation at MU, with claims from Brazilian media that Flamengo is analyzing the possibility of asking the player on loan via a one-year contract. However, I would be a bit skeptical of the above deal, as Antony firmly rejected all options from Brazil in January. Let’s wait and see if that stance changes in the summer.” Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed.
