Widebody LTO E30 BMW Sedan Rocks Rotiform Wheels, Yas Marina Blue Paint

The E30 BMW M3 holds a special place in automotive history as it marked the beginning of the iconic M brand. Originally developed as a homologation special for racing, the E30 M3 became a legend in the late 1980s. With its distinctive quad headlights and widened fenders, the E30 M3 has become highly sought after, with some examples fetching incredibly high prices. However, with the right modifications, the four-door E30 sedan and wagon can also become truly epic. This is where the LTO (Live to Offend) widebody kit comes into play.

Digital artist Khyzyl Saleem is renowned for his imaginative renderings that seamlessly blend fantasy with reality. In recent years, Saleem has collaborated with LTO to create custom kits for various cult cars. Their flagship project, the “Gladiator Hulk,” showcased an E30 3 Series coupe with an LS engine under the hood and a distinct exhaust note. While a prototype of the LTO E30 wagon/touring was completed in 2021, the kit is now finally available for sale.

Although the images may be renderings rather than real cars, they still captivate our imagination. Saleem’s video provides some hints, revealing minor glitches and inconsistencies, such as a missing wing in the photos and a seemingly expansive studio space. Regardless, we can still appreciate the digital project for its standout features, including the modern Yas Marina Blue paint, which debuted with the F80 series, and the eye-catching ROC-H 5-spoke wheels from Rotiform.

The LTO widebody kit offers two stages of customization. Stage 1, priced at $4,950, encompasses the beautiful bolt-on additions. The front fenders feature stylish grilles around the sides of the headlights, seamlessly merging with an M3-style bumper. This setup adds a substantial 80mm (over 3 inches) of width. The rear fenders are even wider, enveloping the doors of the sedan or wagon. Some have humorously remarked that the absence of indicators is a non-issue since BMW drivers seldom use them.

Stage 2, available for an additional $2,000, further enhances the vehicle’s aesthetics. It includes a prominent wing and Saleem’s vision for a racing diffuser. The rendering showcases blocked-off taillights, contributing to the aggressive stance of the modified E30.

As you contemplate the possibilities for your own E30, take a moment to appreciate the real prototype build of the LTO kit showcased in a red wagon. The addition of window louvers adds a touch of flair to this unique project.

while the E30 M3 may be a coveted collector’s car, the E30 sedan and wagon can also be transformed into head-turning vehicles with the LTO widebody kit. Saleem’s digital renderings provide a glimpse into the possibilities, with the striking Yas Marina Blue paint and Rotiform wheels adding a modern twist to the classic design. With the LTO kit available for purchase, enthusiasts now have the opportunity to create their own personalized versions of the E30, ensuring that this iconic model continues to captivate car enthusiasts for years to come.
