‘HE’S ALWAYS HIM’ – Cristiano Ronaldo sneaks out from behind some bushes to get a selfie with the adoring Portuguese supporters before Portugal’s opening Euro 2024 match against the Czech

Cristiano Ronaldo demonstrated his passion to providing fans with an unforgettable experience by climbing over bushes to take a selfie with supporters.

The Portuguese superstar is scheduled to kick off his country’s Euro 2024 campaign against Czechia on Tuesday evening, and has already received a lot of attention in the lead-up to the game.

Several of Portugal’s public training sessions sold out last week as fans flocked to see the 39-year-old, whose presence in Europe has become increasingly rare as he spends the majority of his time in Saudi Arabia.

One youngster even raced onto the pitch during a recent team practice to try to obtain a photo with the former Manchester United and Real Madrid player before being hauled off by security.

Ronaldo usually prefers to keep a low profile at major events in order to concentrate on forthcoming games, but he was happy to accommodate a jubilant crowd in the build-up to Tuesday’s European Championship match.

Ronaldo, who was protected behind a metal fence, could have easily declined a photo request but chose to go the additional mile and pose for a selfie that ultimately went viral online.

Ronaldo had to clumsily crawl through a shrub to get close the impatiently awaiting supporters, demonstrating his devotion to keeping them happy.

After crossing the difficult terrain, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner laughed and posed for a photo with three admirers who couldn’t believe their luck.

Ronaldo seems happy to have been able to meet the Portuguese fans, who appeared to be the only ones in the area, as they had a rare one-on-one with one of football’s greatest players.

He then returned to join the rest of his teammates as Portugal’s 8pm kickoff time approached.

The Al-Nassr striker is anticipated to start Portugal’s first Euro 2024 group game following an excellent goalscoring season in the Saudi Pro League, where he set a new record for the most goals scored in a single season.
