Coach Luis Enrique has left Kylian Mbappe’s name off the roster for the match against Metz. In fact, this will be the second consecutive game the 1998-born striker has been absent from PSG’s lineup. Previously, in the match against Nice, Mbappe was also missing. PSG have stated that the French forward is feeling discomfort in his hamstring, and they do not want to risk Mbappe.
Other key PSG players will still be present for this match. Coach Luis Enrique has included names like Lee Kang-in, Goncalo Ramos and Zaire Emery in the roster. Goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who will be leaving PSG this summer, has also been named in the Spanish coach’s lineup.
It is understood that PSG want to preserve Kylian Mbappe’s fitness for the upcoming French Cup final. That will also be the 2018 World Cup winner’s final match in a PSG jersey. This summer, Kylian is certain to depart the Parisian club.
