Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City stars named in world football's most valuable XI

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City stars have been named in the world’s most valuable XI.

This season, Arsenal, Liverpool and City have been involved in one of the greatest Premier League title races ever as they battle to become champions of England.

Currently, the Gunners sit top with 71 points, level on points with Liverpool but they are on top via goal difference. Reigning champions City are one point behind the pair in third place.

Liverpool and City have been dominating English football over the last few years but the arrival of Arsenal has made the Premier League an even greater spectacle.

The English top flight is also home to some of the most valuable players in world football.

As revealed by Transfermarkt, six Premier League players were named in the world’s most valuable XI.

The six players are Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ruben Dias, William Saliba, Declan Rice, Rodri and Bukayo Saka.

Out of the Premier League players, Arsenal star Saka is the most valuable, with a market value of €130 million. He is closely followed by Rodri and Rice, who are both valued at €110 million.

Meanwhile, centre-backs Saliba and Dias have a value of €80 million, with Alexander-Arnold valued at €70 million.

Goalkeeper – Diogo Costa(FC Porto)

Defenders – Trent Alexander-Arnold(Liverpool), Ruben Dias(Man City), William Saliba(Arsenal), Nuno Mendes(PSG)

Midfielders – Declan Rice(Arsenal), Rodri(Man City), Jude Bellingham(Real Madrid)

Attackers – Bukayo Saka(Arsenal), Vinicius Junior(Real Madrid), Kylian Mbappe(PSG)

Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham and Paris Saint Germain star Kylian Mbappe are the two most valuable players in the XI, with both being valued at a whopping €180 million. In total, the XI is worth €1.20 billion.

PSG man Mbappe is expected to leave the Parc des Princes club when the current season draws to a close, it has been widely reported that the Frenchman will link up with Bellingham at Madrid.
