This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air four-door sedan is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a two-speed automatic transmission and is finished in yellow over black and yellow upholstery. Equipment includes 14″ steel wheels, chrome hubcaps, whitewall tires, chrome bumpers, air conditioning, a dash-mounted clock, and an aftermarket push-button AM/FM radio. The seller acquired the car in July 2021 and states that the fluids were serviced under current ownership. This Bel Air sedan is now offered with an owner’s manual, a radio user’s manual, and a clean South Carolina title in the seller’s name.
The car was refinished in yellow under previous ownership and features chrome emblems, hood ornaments, and bumpers in addition to skirted rear fenders and dual exhaust outlets with polished finishers. Close-up photos of worn badges and emblems, delaminating glass, and blemishes in the paint and chrome are presented in the photo gallery below.
Steel 14″ wheels wear chrome covers and are mounted with 205/75 Coker Classic whitewall tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted drums at all four corners.
The cabin features bench seating trimmed in black vinyl with yellow accents complemented by color-coordinated door panels and replacement black carpeting. Additional appointments include a dash-mounted clock, a heater, air conditioning, lap belts, a Custom Autosound push-button AM/FM radio with USB input, and a switch to control the electric engine fan. Wear is visible on the steering wheel and instrument housing, and wear is visible in the vinyl on the outer driver’s side of the front seat.
The gray two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and frames a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. Aftermarket gauges for oil pressure and amperage are mounted beneath the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 83k miles, approximately 500 of which have been added by the seller.
The replacement 350ci V8 features an aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor with an electric choke, and polished aluminum valve covers. An auxiliary electric fan is mounted in front of the air conditioning condenser. The oil was changed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Rust perforation is visible in the spare tire well. Additional underside photos are available in the gallery.
A reproduction VIN tag is mounted to the driver’s door pillar and reads VC57A202012, which is the VIN sequence listed on the South Carolina title.
